The Sunday Morning Gathering
We gather weekly to worship God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We seek to be a family-friendly environment where everyone participates in the worship of God. Our gathering is intergenerational, informational, inspirational, and transformational. Prayer, scripture, teaching, singing, and sharing characterize every gathering. We start at 9:00 am and are usually done around 10:00 am. Join us in-persona at 820 E Pennsylvania Avenue or online through our Facebook Page.
Atmosphere
We're a casual gathering of believers. We sing songs written thousands of years ago and some written last year. Our teaching is interactive and designed to help you grow in faith. Participation is encouraged through prayer, question asking, question answering, and however else the Spirit leads. Come as you are, leave more like Jesus.
Children
On Sundays we encourage families to worship together. As parents, we are responsible for teaching our children how to worship. As a body of Christ, we are the recipients of great blessing when children worship with us. However, we do offer a nursery for the younger ones during the worship gathering.
Giving
We encourage our ministry partners to give with generous hearts toward the kingdom ministry that takes place through Pennsylvania Avenue Church. Our basic money rules are these: Earn all you can. Save all you can. Give all you can.
